c.1850 This fiery fabric was created by Augustus Pugin (who also notably designed the furnishings for the interior of Westminster Palace) as a wallpaper for the library ceiling of Great Tew Manor, Oxford, where it shone in blue and gold. It is a transitional design that translates perfectly to contemporary interiors, where it works fantastically for upholstery. On a silken bed of royal purple, Medieval solar lances spring forth in soft beech brown and the centre for each emblem is textured by the herringbone weave of the raspberry silk. Woven to order. Minimum - 10 metres
